Thermocouple Wire and Extension Wire

Matched pairs with duplex insulation, color coded according to ANSI MC 96.1-1982. Wide variety of calibration types and insulation materials available from stock.

Multipair

Matched pairs are twisted and shielded with a tinned copper drain wire to achieve maximum reduction of electromagnetic interference. Multiple pairs of conductors are first insulated with PVC; then, each pair is numbered and twisted with its counterpart. Operating temperature rating up to 220°F (105°C).

RTD Wire

2, 3 and 4-wire nickel or tin plated copper conductor constructions in a variety of gauge sizes. All are twisted to achieve maximum reduction of electromagnetic interference. Available with PVC, FEP or fiberglass insulations, and color coded according to ANSI.

Class J – Time Delay – AJT 

Amp-Trap 2000 time-delay AJT fuses provide IEC Type 2 (no damage) protection to main, feeder, and branch circuits for all types of loads, yet they require only half the mounting space needed for 600V UL Class RK fuses. Time delay characteristics handle motor in-rush currents without nuisance trips. Its current-limiting ability and wide range of ratings provide excellent overcurrent protection for all your applications. An optional mechanical blown fuse indicator and microswitch is available on blade type (70 to 600A) fuses for visual and/or remote blown fuse indication.

Class CC – Transformer Duty – ATQR / ATDR

ATQR small-dimension fuses feature time delay characteristics ideally suited for the high inrush currents of control transformers, solenoids, and similar inductive loads. Mersen’s ATQR fuses provide superior protection for the branch circuits of electrical distribution systems. Amp-Trap 2000 time delay ATDR small-dimension fuses provide IEC Type 2 (no damage) protection to your facility’s increasingly sensitive branch circuit components and small motors, minimizing the risk of fault-related damage. ATDR Class CC fuses deliver the best time delay characteristics in their class with excellent cycling ability for small motor loads.

Class RK5 – Time Delay – TR/TRS

Tri-Onic TRS-R current-limiting time delay fuses are engineered for overcurrent protection of motors, transformers, service entrance equipment, feeders and branch circuits. The time delay characteristics of the TRS-R safely handle harmless starting currents and inrush currents associated with today’s motors and transformers. Tri-Onic TR-R current-limiting time delay fuses are engineered for overcurrent protection of motors, transformers, service entrance equipment, feeders and branch circuits.

Class J – High Speed – HSJ

The High Speed Class J (HSJ) combines the low I²t of a semiconductor fuse and the branch circuit performance of a Class J UL listed fuse into a single design. The HSJ can provide both branch circuit protection per NEC requirements and a very low I²t for protection of power semiconductors such as diodes, SCRs, GTOs and SSRs.

Ferraz Shawmut Semiconductor Fuses 

A60Q Amp-trap Form 101 Semiconductor Protection fuses feature the only 600 volt AC/DC rating in the industry of similar size (1-1/2″ x 13/32″) fuses protecting semiconductors. A60Q also has the lowest I²t of all similar fuses and excellent cycling ability. Applications include inverters and small equipment requiring extremely fast response to faults, without the need to carry sustained heavy overloads.

700V – A70P

A70P Amp-trap Form 101 Semiconductor Protection fuses were developed for higher voltage AC and DC drives, UPS systems, reduced voltage motor starters, and similar applications where lower I²t and superior reliability are needed. A70P is a very popular fuse, available in a wide range of ratings.

US3J / US6J – Class J

Mersen UltraSafe modular class J fuse holders introduce a new level of safety and ease for installing or replacing class J fuses. UltraSafe fuse holders qualify as finger-safe to an IP20 grade of protection under IEC standards. The US3J accommodates 30A class J or IEC cylindrical 22x58mm fuses. The US6J accommodates 60A class J. UltraSafe fuse holders are available in compact 1, 2, or 3-pole units, with or without visual blown fuse indication. Multiple poles can be assembled in the field by ordering and installing pin-tie handles. US3J and US6J fuse holders can be mounted on 35mm DIN-rail. Body material is a tough and durable polyamide.

USM / USCC – Class CC & Midget

Mersen UltraSafe modular fuse holders introduce a new level of safety for class CC and midget fuses up to 30 amperes. UltraSafe fuse holders qualify as “finger safe” under IEC and DIN standards to an IP20 grade of protection, including fuse changing (with the flick of a finger). UltraSafe fuse holders are available in 1, 2, 3 or 4 poles, with or without visual blown-fuse indicators in each pole. Multiple poles can be assembled in the field by ordering and installing pin-tie handles. UltraSafe fuse holders save up to 15% mounting space, and any combination can be snapped onto 35mm DIN rail for extra savings in panel building time. Choose class CC fuses for Type “2” no-damage protection, one of the safest protection packages in the industry. The UltraSafe body material is tough and durable polyamide, with exceptional insulating properties.

CLASS H / K 600 V Fuse Holders

Mersen class H and K open-style fuse holders accommodate all class H and K power fuses. A choice of screw, pressure plate, box and special order stud connectors fit a wide range of stranded or solid copper or aluminum wire. Insulators are either molded glass-filled polycarbonate (GFPC) or phenolic with verified dielectric strength in excess of 2500V. 30, 60, 100 and 200A fuse holders feature a unique adder block to form multi-pole segmented blocks of as many poles as desired. All fuse clips are made of high-conductivity tin-plated copper.
